Teens with emotional dysregulation face significant difficulties in five key areas. In this short interview (run time 2:22), Rogers Behavior Health's Dr. Erik Ulland, Nashotah medical director, explains how students may exhibit self-desctructive behaviors as an attempt to calm down how they're feeling and describes skills for teens to building capacity to self-regulate.
